Mystery Tackle Box Review

A few weeks ago when I started going crazy about subscription boxes, I purchased Curtis a Mystery Tackle Box. My man loves fishing and the great outdoors so I thought this would be a fun box for him to get. He had no idea what he was getting, so that was fun for me because I never keep a surprise from him!

Mystery Tackle Box costs $15 a month. If you are interested in receiving a box, you can use the GET499 discount code and receive your first box for $4.99.

The contents of the box were pretty cool.

There was a KVD Square Bill by Strike King valued at $5.99. This lure is designed to “entice shallow bass.” The box also included two Hydra Hybrid Jigs by Freedom Tackle Corp valued at $7.49. “This hybrid jig has an interchangeable free motion hook, 3D hologram lifelike eyes and minnow like action for more bait movement.”

Now, let’s talk worms! There were three bags of worms that each included three worms in this box [these are sample bags, full size items with less product]. First up is the 7″ Raptor Tail Worm by Xcite Baits valued at  $1.05. Next up is the Skinny Dipper by Reaction Innovations valued at $2.40. Finally, there was 5″ Hyper Worms by Lake Fork Trophy Lures valued at $1.65.

Also included in the box was some paperwork.

I really liked the information card. It had a picture and description of every item. It also included the item’s price and a website where you can but it.

I got a huge kick out of the picture on the back!

There were also two cards with coupon codes and giveaways.

And a sticker! I’m sure Curtis will be adding it to his toolbox collection.

The box totaled about $18.58 and I would say that is an excellent deal.

I asked Curtis a few questions about how he felt about the box:

What did you think of the box overall? Love it!

What was your favorite item? The worms. I am a worm fisherman.

Would you have picked those [worms] out? I’m a little hesitant to pay money for something I don’t know about. I’m glad I got these so I can try something new.

Was there anything you don’t like or won’t use? Why? I haven’t caught a lot of fish on crawls and I’m not sure about jigs, but I am anxious to try them out.

Does your man like fishing and outdoors?

Love, KarenAnn
