In honor of Thatcher’s Half Birthday today I would like to take some time to tell you a little bit more about his personality.
So much has changed in the past few months. It is so bittersweet.
Thatcher’s favorite song is “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and he is trying to clap. Clapping is his favorite part.
He also loves “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” because I row him back and forth.
He likes for me and daddy to bark and quack.
He loves to bounce and jump.
When he meets you, he is very solemn and observant. You have to work for a smile!
He loves to cuddle in the evening.
He is a morning person.
He has started to shake his head “no.”
He likes to listen to music [any kind]. He thinks daddy’s music [the head banging kind] is funny.
Thatcher gives the sweetest, most slobbery kisses and they are great!
He prefers to sit up or lay down, nothing in between.
He will eat anyone’s finger.
He loves to be scared, he thinks it is hysterical.
He grunts while trying to achieve new physical developments.
He loves sucking on lemon.
He sucks his bunny’s [which is a lovey] ear to sleep.
He has to have all of his toys at once.
He loves reading books.
He likes noses and he squeezes them really hard.
When you have his approval, he spits at you.
He loves to watch everyone’s conversations and mimic their mouths moving.
He loves to kick [especially when his diaper is being changed].
Thatcher loves to watch himself in the mirror. He smiles extra big.
