5 Items for 5 Months.

As Thatcher turns the corner to his sixth month, I thought I would share the top 5 items we used this month. These products were the most frequently used or most enjoyed by Thatcher.

1. Boppy Pillow

Thatcher started sitting up unassisted right before he turned five months old. To keep him from bonking his head, I pulled the Boppy pillow back out [we haven’t used it in a few months] to help stabilize him when he started to topple over.

2. Shopping Cart Cover

Since he has been sitting up so well, we also pulled out our shopping cart cover this month. We go to the grocery store at least once a week and he enjoys looking around at all of the action.

We also stuff the cover in highchairs when we eat out [those things are disgusting]. It’s nice for him to join us at the table!

3. Hats

The warm weather has moved in and we venture outdoors so much more. I use all types of hats to shield Thatcher’s bald little head and shade his eyes from the bright sun. We have a few different sun hats and a baseball cap [which he sports the most].

We received an iPlay sunhat in our June Citrus Lane box that I can’t wait to use. It will probably have to wait until next summer because it runs on the bigger side.

4. Baby Touch and Feel Book: Trucks

This is a much loved item by our spunky boy. He has been lighting up at this book since he could smile [around six weeks] and it is a must read every couple of days. I’m sure this book could make the list for every month!

Being the crazy hoarder mom that I am, I will probably save this book forever!

5. Fisher-Price Stacking Rings

Thatcher started playing with these rings about halfway into his fifth month. At the beginning of June, he was completely uninterested. I tried again a few weeks later and he loved them! He can only figure out how to get the rings off right now, but I know it’s only a matter of time before he figures out how to get them back on [this  kid is growing up too fast].

Love, KarenAnn
